We first visited Las Iguanas in Portsmouth when killing time waiting for a delayed ferry to Bilbao and enjoyed a delicious early evening menu with BOGOF coktails for a miniscule price. Unfortunately Las Iguanas hasn't penetrated East Anglia yet (hint hint!!) but with a family member in North London we have visited the Soho branch twice recently. On both occasions we have had an excellent lunch yesterday was my wife's birthday celebration and we were very impressed by the level of service food and discounts offered. Full marks to the restaurant manager the chef and our charming waitress. Not only was the food delicious but the ambience ideal for a celebration lunch. Many thanks.

My husband and I visit Las Iguanas on a regular basis. We think the lunch menu is great value for money. I am Coeliac - its so rare to see such a wide choice of dishes that can be offered as gluten free. My husband and I visited the Sheffield Las Iguanas for our 2nd wedding anniversary. This was our first visit and we loved it. The service was fantastic the food was lovely and the atmosphere was good. It was busy when we arrived and I was concerned that we would be next to a large group which would have spoilt our intimate meal. This did not happen as the tables were well spread out. I cannot fault the experience we had and I think this is rare in this day and age.

Me and my family love Las Iguanas we eat here all the time. The food and staff are amazing. Last time we went we got soaked by the rain and the staff couldnt do enough. When we got in they gave us tshirts for the kids to keep warm and hot chocolate to warm them up all free. Where else do you get all that?! A big thankyou to all the staff x

Myself and my partner had a great time in your restaurant in Leeds last night that I felt the need to tell you about it! The service was excellent especially from Sarah who was friendly and helpful and looked after us well. I visited the Bath branch on my birthday with my boyfriend. The waiter (I think his name was Filipe) was wonderful-brought the food and drinks at just the right moments was very friendly and extremely polite. When he found out it was my birthday he brought me a piece of cake with icecream and a candle on top. He had put a pink candle on top to match my outfit. It was just a sweet little touch that made me feel special. The food was great too and I had a lovely evening. I recommend Las Iguanas to everyone!

I am a regular visit to Las Iguanas and return time after time because of the excellent level of service we get every time. I have recommended it to many friends and have brought family anfd friends with us for parties and celebrations. The food and drinks are always of a high standard but what makes it special for is is the way Mario runs the place and the way in which he ensures his staff behave. Last night (22.06.10 at 18.30) and the week before my work colleagues and I had leaving parties at Las Iguanas Dean Street London. I would just like to say that the service was really good. Not only were they very accommodating seeing as the number of people jumped from 10 to 20 but made it seem as if it were no trouble.
I can imagine that the table was quite hard to serve as there were so many of us but the waitress was friendly efficient quick and diligent. She put a lot of effort into serving us and couldn’t have been nicer. She stored our bouquet of flowers in another part of the restaurant and reminded us of them when we left. The bills were sorted out quickly and without any hassle. I really enjoyed the evening and I know many of the other people did as well. Thank you very much. (Soho)

Came across Las Iguanas in Manchester whilst visiting for the weekend. Popped in for lunch and as we were shown to the table the waitress asked if we were celebrating anything. As a matter of fact we were - our wedding anniversary. Next thing we know a complimentary drink arrived. Had the lunch time offer menu. He knows its my fave place for a good night out - the staff are brilliant the food is great and I cannot resist the cocktails! He booked a table for Sat 13th Feb at my favourite Las Iguanas in Reading and after a fab meal and several cocktails he pushed a box across the table which contained THE ring - the staff guessed what had happened and immediately brought over complimentary champagne cocktails! We've been back several times and are never disappointed. Its just the best vibe you will ever get in a restaurant. Thank you!

I visited the Bristol harbourside on 22/05/2010 for a meal with my girlfriend to celebrate our anniversary. I had a meal with colleagues at Las Iguanas Birmingham. We had cocktails in the bar first and the staff were lovely (we were served by a girl with dark hair) and later moved to the restaurant. Our waiter Stephen was charming funny and extremely helpful. We ended up dressed in Las Iguanas T-shirts having our photograph taken in front of the picture wall and drank far too many (delicious) cocktails. It was the day before my 50th birthday and I had been sent a voucher for a free main course as we are already on the mailing list. We have been coming to the Nottingham branch for some time now and it is our favourite restaurant ever! (Our adult children now go the the Leeds and Spitalfields branches near where they live on our recommendation.) We used to regularly shop in Lincoln as it is nearer to us in Newark but Las Iguanans always pulls us to Nottingham and I can't tell you the last time we shopped in Lincoln! We often think we should try somewhere else so look at all the other places and menus but never think they look as good so without fail eat with you! Came in at the weekend for a group booking and had the best time out we've had in ages. The food was ace as were the cocktails, there was a great buzzing atmosphere but the best thing about the evening was the service. We were looked after so well nothing was too much trouble and me and my friends can be very demanding. We turned up late for our booking yet our table was held for us which i know is not always the done thing in busy restaurants nowadays and our waiter was ace i think his name was steven and was very helpful. The manager on duty was lovely too as he came and checked on us after we had finsihed our meal. Thanks again Las Iguanas we will be returning and bringing more friends with us.

We were in Birmingham this weekend after seeing aston villa's final game of the season. We travel to Birminham several times a year from Ireland to support our favorite football team. We arrived on Sunday night the 9/3/2010. We were served by a lovely waitress. My visit to the Leicester branch was superb. The gerneral ambience was great. A perfect mix between something lively but also intimate. The food was really nice- they even made it the way I prefer it and I can honestly say I felt shocked by how great the service was. The majority of places in the same category of restaurants have appaulling service but this was exceptional and sets the standards where they should be when dining out. As it was for a special occasion I was impressed and will certainly go back.

We arranged a visit for a family get together with the main reason for the visit being that my 2 neices follow a gluten free diet and this is one of the only restaurants around which i had noticed served gluten free food. The staff and the food were excellent - we were surprised at how accommodating the chef was for us all. The staff were great and even gave t shirts to my 2 neices (9 and 11) as well as a baloon when we left.

Las Iguanas is by far the best restaurant i have had the pleasure of eating at. Being a vegetarian I find it hard finding a restaurant that hasn't just thrown a few vegetarian options at the bottom of the menu as a kind of after thought so as far as the food is concerned it is by far the best i have eaten.The staff also need to be praised for their exceptional service the manager Matt and our waitress Deana both delivered outstanding service to make sure our every need was catered for. It was our first visit to Las Iguanas after meaning to try it for ages! We were just out for a casual meal and it was perfect. The waitress was really friendly and helpful with any questions we had about the food/menu. The food really was nice and we'll definitely be going again.

We are a family of six (mum dad two teenage and two infant daughters). We feel that it needs to be said that on every visit to the Leicester Iguanas -be it on a busy Friday or Saturday night or even on a laid back easy Sunday afternoon the staff have been more then welcoming. On the weekend of the 27th March myself and 17 others were on a hen weekend for our best friend. We were due to have dinner at Ask that night but due to a cooker problem they cancelled our table on us an hour before we were due to go. We had been in your Oxford restaurant earlier that day for drinks and found the staff to be very friendly helpful and provided quick service for all 18 of us. On the off chance I called the resturant and explained what had happened to us. The staff could not have been more helpful. They provided us with a table for 8.30pm, gave us free shots when we got there and were kind enough to extend the buy one get one free on the cocktails. It was a great start to the night the food was lovely, the service was quick and the staff were really helpful. On the way out we asked to see the manager to thank them for all their help.

We came to celebrate our recent engagement having been out for our first date at Las Iguanas four years ago. The service from Candace was superb and we were really touched by the champagne and flowers which we were given as a congratulations from the restaurant. She was absolutely great they were all really busy but she kept smiling and kept everyone at the bar informed so they knew they were next and had been seen which really makes a different. My wife and I visited the restaurant for an anniversary on 11th March. We had a fabulous time and as usual our experience was made all the better by the excellent staff and customer service. We are always made very welcome and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. This is credit to the manager Mario who seems to have the ability to train and motivate his staff to provide such a high level of service. The hospitality is second to none. We again went to the same restaurant on Mother's Day with our children. Again the high level of service was there and the waitress Clare made a real fuss of the children. We all had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Mario A.J. and Clare (plus others whose names I don't know) are all a credit to your company. Definitely my family's favourite restaurant! I was out for a works leaving party and we decided to give las iguanas a try and few of the party had already been to las iguanas before and recommended it highly for the great food and atmosphere. the reason why i am writing this so soon after leaving the party is because of the wonderful experience i have had tonight! our waiter for the evening was damien and he was very professional and we enjoyed his charming conversation the food was brought out efficently and was to a very high standard. also the two for one offer on cocktails was a nice suprise. i cant wait to come again!!!!

My wife and I came down to Bath for a city break last week..mon to fri..We know the city pretty well and have been many times before but not for a few years. We were keen to eat well and looked at the list of restaurants there before we arrived. We do like everything latino and were pleased to discover your restaurant (we don't have one in Winchester!!!...but should have!!!) and that you accepted Tesco vouchers which was even better. We came on feb 2 for the first time liked it so much we decided to come back again on feb 4 ... twice...first for an early evening Caipirinha and later for a meal. Everything was great. The food was really good the atmosphere was good...it was pleasantly full (for tuesday and thursday evenings)...the music was good (upstairs) and the staff were particularly friendly helpful chatty...and efficient....and we had long chats with your Bath manageress Sara and our little dark haired waitress ( sorry have forgotten her name ) we were very complimentary and we tried our utmost to convince them to get you to open a restaurant in WINCHESTER asap. i visited the restaurant in quite a hurry with a theatre performance to attend within 40 minutes and although our order wasn't the quickest to prepare our waiter from Northern Ireland i think his name was Neil was fantastic. He was attentive understanding and excellent at his job. It felt like we were the only people there. Thats the biggest compliment i could ever give serving staff. Excellent and it makes me even more enthusiastic to go back.

I visited Las Iguanas Birmingham on December 21st for our Christmas Party. We had arranged to go for cocktails at Iguanas first and then had a meal book elsewhere. We were a party of 8 arrived at about 6.30ish. The service and atmosphere was brilliant as soon as we walked in. The bar staff were very knowledagle and helped choose the cocktails. We also met the manager Matt who wasnt working but made us feel very welcome. After an hour or so drinking the coctails it was decided that we would eat as we were having such a good time.(We had to cancel our other reservation) The food was excellent as well. We only visited for a cocktail but instead spent the whole night there. Hats off to all the staff and the manager Matt. You we all brilliant

I had a fantastic xmas party at the Leicester Iguanas at my recommendation to which your staff backed every great comment i had said. I was out with 7 work colleagues we were greated by lively bar staff and a fantastic host we were sat promptly after our drinks the evening ran perfectly from there no waiting for any of our courses all of which were sent back with empty plates and satisfied work mates. I organised a hen meal at the Dean street location for 18 people on a Saturday night. Amazing amazing amazing!!! I went along before hand to check out the venue as I had never been here before. The decor was stunning. All very clean and new looking. Lovely chandeliers from the ceiling. A funky bar and cocktail area. Main area has open plan tables and then a few booths towards the back part. We had our own separate area located a few steps up off the main level at the very back which was ideal. Still very much part of the restaurant but away from the main area. Perfect for a group party as not to invade the space of couples eating. I was allowed to decorated earlier in the evening and was even helped by the manager. Very hospitable.
The service was fantastic I can't compliment it enough. We were served by the manager Adrian as they were short staffed on the night.You would never have noticed. He was fantastic. The table was ready when we arrived. We ordered from the set menu and I managed to negotiate a cocktail (before hand) to be included (for a little extra). We were served the cocktails immediately when we arrived. All starters came out together. Main meals came very quickly and the food was served hot fresh and delicious. Every one enjoyed the food not one negative.
The atmosphere had such a good vibe. There was a dance show and the dancers came to our table and danced with the bride to be and really made a fuss of her which was perfect. I highly recommend this place for group booking or even a good fun meal. It has everything required for a fun night out. Great food cocktails brilliant atmosphere and amazing service!! Las Iguanas of Brighton were kind enough to help me host my son's 5th birthday party at the restaurant. it was a great success with all the 20 kids getting stuck in and assembling their own fajitas! It worked out really well as we had the raised area to ourselves and this seemed a good boundary for the children so as not to run wild over the whole restaurant!! all the parents stayed too and they all commented on what a lovely time they had some didn't want to leave! The staff on duty that day were really helpful with an already busy dining area to deal with that day they were patient with all the children and also the parents pestering for extra wine!! To be honest before the party i wasn't sure how it would work having so many kids in such a small area with lots of other diners to consider but it all just fell into place and worked really well. thanks again.

I just wanted to say how excellent the service at your Birmingham (Arcadian centre) branch was recently. Although I'm sure you'd prefer your diners to have a leisurely drinks and meal we were in a great hurry for another commitment and concerned about getting there on time. The chap who showed us to a table assured us he would let the chef/other staff know and we managed to order eat and sit for a bit all within 45 minutes. They were also most courteous (even tho we didn't spend a huge amount of money) and I will definately go back there next time I'm in Brum. Any chance you'll open a branch in Cheltenham or Gloucester tho? (please!)

As soon as we entered the restaurant all the staff were very friendly. We were promply shown to our table. Our waitress was extremely friendly and very helpful. Even though we have visited many times before I seeked advise for my food order from our waitress and decieded on the Ensopado de Carne. Which was amazing and would definately recommend it to anyone. My girlfriend had the 2-4-1 cocktails which she enjoyed. The bill was extremely good for the quality of food drink and service we recieved.

I had only been to Las Iguanas for lunch a couple of times so I thought I'd check out the evening vibe. I hadn't booked a table but didn't have to wait long before we were seated. I planned to take my boyfriend out for a meal for his birthday we were originally planning to go to Zizzi which is next door to Iguanas but after getting there and waiting for ages only to be totally ignored we decided we'd go to Iguanas instead. We'd been plenty of times before and always had amazing service along with the amazing food and this time was no different! Sophie our waitress had served us the last time we'd been and remembered the exact table we'd sat at! My boyfriend had been sent a voucher for his birthday which since we thought we were going elsewhere he forgot to bring he mentioned this to Sophie and she said that since he didn't have his voucher he couldn't have whatever it entitled him to but we didn't really mind. But he was very happy when she brought over a free birthday cocktail for him! We had a fantastic evening the food was brilliant as always and the fact it was happy hour also went down a treat! It was also nice that Sophie had the time to have a little chat with us whilst my card was being put through which isn't something you get all that often - we'll probably all be on first name terms pretty soon! We will definitely be back again very soon.

We prebooked your restaurant for a meal as we were going to an afternoon show in the city centre. The show had gone on for longer than what we had anticipated. As we approached your restaurant we were convinced that you would have had to let our table go especially as it was absolutely packed. What a surprise it was to be greeted by such friendly and professional staff guiding our party to our table. What followed was a delicious meal 1st Class attentive service and a brilliant atmosphere. The perfect end to an excellent evening. We will definately be making a return visit and will be recommending it to all our friends and family. I have been meaning to put this comment up on the web site for a couple of months now we had a family meal in Milton Keynes which was fantastic as usual and when the sweet menu was offered to me I didn’t fancy anything and mentioned to the young lady serving us who name is ALE (PRONOUNCED ALI). Aww I’m really sorry we don’t have it on the menu. I am sure she was looking at my waistline and think I didn’t need it any way and she is probably right too! well I''''''''m not writing this to tell you how disappointed I was because ten minutes later to my amazement a steaming plate of treacle sponge and custard was placed in front of me I can assure it was woofed down in five minutes flat (I did have the help of my family). The young lady responsible ALE came up with a big grin on her face she had sent someone out to Sainsbury’s to buy it and I was gob smacked! After getting a 2 4 1 voucher i decided to try out La Iguanas in the trafford centre as i have never been to any of the restaurants before. I could not fault anything the service was excellent and quick the drinks (we had sangria) were very tasty! The food was very filling and tasted delicious for a chain restaurant. I visited Las Iguanas in Sheffield a few weeks ago for a meal with my wife daughter and 2 of my daughter's friends and had a fantastic time. Our waitress was called Clare and she was excellent - in particular how she looked after the kids was great. It was a joint celebration for the birthdays of all 3 children and Clare sang happy birthday to them and brought candles in their desserts. She was very friendly and helpful and was certainly one of the reasons why we came back and will do again. Our last visit was this week when we came for cocktails and again we were looked after extremely well. The manager (Mario) spent some time chatting to us and was vert attentive and made us feel very welcome. The barman (AJ) was also great - he was very friendly and took the time to describe the various cocktails and never allowed our glasses to be empty without offering to bring us more drinks. A very enjoyable evening.

My husband and I visited your Nottingham restaurant on Saturday 11th April with my parents for a quick bite to eat before attending the theatre. We enjoyed it so much that the following day when friends came to visit us we came for a more relaxed meal again. My first visit to Las Iguanas Oxford was around 10 months before. I always like ‘Pescado’ very much while I was placing the order my favourite dish was not available. But the Manager of the restaurant apologised and he suggested an alternate which was very good.
I have visited Las Iguanas Oxford for the second time on Tuesday 7 Apr 09 around 8 pm. When I entered the restaurant I was amazed that the Manager of the restaurant remembered me. He gave the menu and told that ‘Pescado’ is available for you and also recollected the name of alternate dish he provided last time. I was stunned with his brilliant memory in remembering the whole situation. I had enjoyed very much in Las Iguanas as the service food and ambience was Excellent.
I am a regular visitor of London RFH. I shall come to Las Iguanas definitely on my visit to Oxford.

I cannot praise highly enough the team of staff at the Las Iguanas restaurant at the Trafford Centre Manchester. My husband and I ate there for a special occasion last week and all through our experience we were treated exceptionally well. The service we received was first rate by both the management and the waiting staff who were friendly and helpful.
I am a regular customer at this particular restaurant and it is always nice to be remembered by the staff and greeted in such a friendly manner. On our last visit to the restaurant on Valentine’s Day this year the booking I had made had been lost but we were seated promptly even though this must have created a logistical challenge!
It is not often in this industry that this high level of service is encountered.

I came into the restaurant to initially only have a few drinks. However the buzz of the restaurant compelled me to sit down and have a meal. For a saturday evening i wasn't even made to wait long. I have been regularly visiting my loacal Las Iguanas restaurant in Gunwharf Quays and have always been overwhelemed with the level of service received. The staff are always friendly and accommodating whether it is a special occassion or a last minute catch up with friends. Service is always prompt and the cutomer is never made to feel as if they are an inconvienience (unlike in other resturant chains). The food is always delicious and offers unique dishes that are not available elsewhere in the area. Las Iguanas always provides an enjoyable dining experience with the warm atmosphere ehancing the this even more. Went to your Bath restaurant last Saturday. We didn't book & we were surprised to be able to get a table as the restaurant was full. We had to wait for only 15min in their cocktail bar which was an awesome place with some great cocktails and fab music will def be back their. We decided on a visit to Las Iguanas for my birthday after having had a great lunch there with our children the week before. The atmosphere is great very relaxing and although busy the restaurant wasn't overcrowded. We decided to go with the Tapas part of the menu and all the dishes we had were great especially the duck torrillas and chorizo in red wine. The olives with bread for a starter was really tastie too (first time i'd tried olives!). The 2 for 1 cocktails is a really good idea and we had several Cuba Libres which really complimented our food. Our waiter Craig was really helpful and we were left to take our time and enjoy our food but at the same time he made sure we had everything we needed. I would like to thank everyone at Las Iguanas for a great night and will definately be returning some time soon with friends!

Myself and Wife had excellent meal at the Birmingham resturant. The meal very Hot and Very Fresh and tasty. We where greated with a friendly face and a warm welcome shown to our Table. We loved it. We were walking down the road and a big bright yellow poster caught our eye we thought lets try it. We came into the restaurant on Monday night and even though it was busy it was nice to see the people were all smilling and having a good time. We were tol that there was a waiting list by the manager and only ended up waiting 5 minutes.What made the experience so great was when we were seated the manager asked us if it was our first time and offered us help with the menu. It's good to see that you offer non alchoholic cocktails on happy hour as myself and my wife do not drink. The service from the waitress was fantastic she talked us through the menu and told us her favourite was the XimXim (Pele's favourite) she also recomended the nachos with chicken which I have to say were the best we've ever had in London to date.

Me and my wife were recommended your restaurant by a friend who said they had been a few weeks ago and had a fantastic time. So we thought we would try it out and we were not dissapointed the food was excellent a very good selection of dishes to choose from. We were sat in the bar area having a few drinks and tapas where we found the person behind the who seemed to be a manager was able to recomend your caipirinha to us which we had never heard of before. He had great knowledge about the product to which he had us hooked and explained what he was doing when he was making the drink. We then moved into the restaurant to have a meal our waitress was very professional and helpfull explaining dishes and recomending some to us. I visited the Las Iguanas in Liverpool One on the day it opened served by John who was extremely helpful and welcoming. my friend and i were visiting london for a weeks break and as you do we were wandering around trying to find somewhere to eat. this is when we came across las iguanas. we decided the modern outlook and the tempting menu and offers on the outside was enough to persuade us to give it a go. we were served immediately the staff were extreemly friendly. the food was quick and i still have to say the best meal i can remeber tasting. we left a very generous tip but not after trying the tempting cocktails and proved to be just as good as the food. as i work in a resturant myself i have to say the service and the quality of food was excellent and far better than anywhere else i have been. i have to thank all those working at the las iguanas in london next to the river you made our visit superb. i will next visit the one in manchester as i live in blackburn so it is closer. thank you (The O2)

I just thought I would take a few moments to tell you about our meal on friday night. I went to the Sheffield Las Iguanas for a christmas party in December and really enjoyed our visit with a very lively atmosphere. I was looking for somewhere to go out on friday having not booked anywhere thought i would try it again for meal for myself and my wife. I was a little concerned with how lively it was previously at Christmas however I found it thoroughly enjoyable the music was a little loud but a great atmosphere and really attentive service.

Visited your oxford branch last night for a birthday party for 16 as organised by the restuarant management team as a last minute change of venue. All I can say is if it hadn't been for them we would have been unable to celebrate my birthday (let down by inept staff bad communication and inability to know the customers needs at La Tasca). The waitress that looked after us was commented by all to be one of the best ever very attentive and ahead of us on all our needs and Rik the manager was brilliant also.
We have previously visited and have no hesitattion recomending the perfect evening out at Las Iguanas. It seems that you have the team at the moment. The food was excellent.

The purpose of our visit was a surprise 30th birthday party for my partner. Unfortunatley the building suffered a loss of electricity. The manager phoned to let me know and kept me up to date with what was happening. The power was still not on at the time we were to set out for the restaurant. He transfered the cake and deposit to another restaurant . Once we arrived the power was back on and so we cheekily asked to transfered back to las iguanas restaurant. This was all taken care of! we received complimentry champagne for our troubles and outstanding service also!!!! We found all the staff extremley friendly and inviting and have NEVER received such service as this from ANY restaurant we have visited! There were 14 of us within our party and all thought the same. May I congratulate the manager (James) and waitress who served us (have forgotten her name sorry) and their team. They were extremley busy that evening but the service was as if we were the only table in the place!! WELL DONE!!!

I wanted to write to let you know what a fabulous time I and my party had at your Brighton restaurant. The food was delicious that atmosphere very buzzy but what really made our evening a success was the service we recieved from your staff. Rachel Love and Marc Davis was our waitress and waiter (is that what you call them?!) during the evening - they were so helpful and chatty - two lovely people! The cake they presented us with for the birthday in our party was a particularly thoughtful touch. Marc remembered my husband and I from our previous visit earlier in the year when we were looking for a restaurant for New Year's eve! We are so pleased that he 'sold' the restaurant to us!
We look forward to our next visit when we are in Brighton but in the meantime will try other locations a little closer to us.

My 1st impressions were ''wow'' love the decor.. a very attractive building.. the ambience was good.. food was delicious.. i think prices were reasonable.. you get your moneys worth thats for sure! lol. I recently visited Las Iguanas in Spitalfields market after I'd been recommended the place by a friend. I had a friend visiting from New York so I was keen to go somewhere which would impress. We were both greeted by an extremely polite and well presented host. He was efficient and saw us to the cosiest table in the house after suggested the different types of tables available and listening to what we were looking for. He then proceeded to ensure that we were comfortable and happy throughout the duration of the evening - despite the fact he was visibly busy seating other customers. But he was an extremely big personality with a warm an quirky manner managing to multi-task and he seemed to make each table feel they had his own special attention. Our waitress was very attentive and knowlegable about the food and wine ...impressive as this is so often not the case. When the food came it was just what we were after - tasty good hearty food with all the flavour and flare that you''d expect from a latin experience. The host who we were initially greeted by suggested some 2-4-1 cocktails to start with - which with a little party spirited persuasion - we took full advantage of ! It really made the whole meal a great fun Latino experience - which to be honest was probably the best memory of my friends trip due to the friendly fun but efficient nature of the staff that night. The whole place seemed to be held together by up beat staff who were pleased to be there and well motivated to give the customer the best experience. A good recommendation by my friend - I''ll definitely be back again!

We decided to have our wedding reception at Las Iguanas in Spitalfields Market on the 18th October 2008. We met Barbora there who was extremely helpful and managed to do a great job on the day with her excellent staff. The food was brilliant as well as the service and the drinks. Barbora managed to organize our party for 80 guests with place cards and great food delivered on time! They worked so hard to the point that everyone was extremely satisfied with the service and told us about how great the venue is!

I came to the relaunch evening of Sheffield Iguanas with my husband and some friends and we had a wonderful time. The food from the new menu was delicious. We were served by a young woman called Sarah who was very good - attentive without being overbearing and very friendly. The restaurant was packed and had a wonderful lively atmosphere. It was a fabulous way to spend an evening and our friends who had not been before were very impressed! We've been before for meals and for drinks and always found the place lively and fun with excellent service a good friendly atmosphere and great food. I've even brought my elderly mother for lunch and she loves it too! It's nice to be able to get such interesting food and we particualrly enjoy the cocktails. My husband doesn't drink and likes the non-alcoholic ones.

It was my first time eating in Las Iguanas and i'm pleased to say it wont be the last! I had a wonderful evening from the moment we arrived the staff took the time and effort to take care of our every need and i was delighted to see that there was special allergy options on the menu too. The atmosphere was warm and friendly; the service was excellent the waiters were efficient prompt and served with a smile! I am a big fan of cocktail indulgence but also a harsh critic when it comes to ingredients and taste; but my pallet was treated to the delights of beautifully made cocktails with fresh ingredients showing skill and effort from the bar staff...all i can say is mmmmm!!! For my main meal i chose the flame grilled steak fajitas the food was presented stunningly and the taste was divine! The generous portions were great value for money and hit the spot of filling hungry stomachs perfectly!! Next i would like to say that Rachel (i took down her name as i was extremely impressed with her hospitality warmth and helpful manner with everything from the table prompt service discussing the food and drinks menu etc.) was very attentive to our needs and this made the dining experience so much more enjoyable. I was made to feel like every diner should feel : special! So i just want to say a big thank you for making my visit to Las Iguanas a very special treat its so lovely to feel spoilt sated and not left out of pocket!!! Hi there we went for a meal there yesterday evening before Kylie and loved it. Went to Pizza Express first and left there cos we had to wait for a long time to be served. Although there was a queue in the door we were seated promptly and were even given the option to sit outside inside or upstairs balcony (which we found really good). We were seated upstairs balcony and the waitress came to our table and greeted and took our order promptly. We ordered Mohito especial and citrus cooler. I had to say I’ve never tasted any gd mohito like this in any other restaurant. For starter we had gambas and nachos and the gambas was succulent full of flavours. Compliments to the chef. Although it looked quite busy we never had to wait for food drink and our server was always around us making sure everything was great. Great management and excellent service. Really impressed with it. We will be recommending it to all our friends and family. As main course we had sirloin steak and ximxim. My sirloin steak was exactly what I did ask for medium rare spot on. My wife had ximxim which was recommended by our server and it was fantastic. Really authentic brazilian curry. She really enjoyed it. Our server even asked us if we are going for Kylie and gave us the bill on the right time and told us that she will be on stage at 20.15. We really had a lovely meal and amazing time in your restaurant. Thanks to all the team for making our evening great.

The best thing I have eaten at Las Iguanas amongst many wonderful dishes that I have tried over the years!! It was fantastic. I have been looking at recipes to try and create the dish at home. Absolutely awesome.

Every time I visit Las Iguanas the food just gets better and better I have never left unsatisfied. Me and my wife had the Gambas Wife’s personal favourite) Nachos with Chilli Con Carne and Pato Taquito which was the most amazing thing I have ever tasted!! Shredded duck with caramelised onions I could have eaten two bowls!! I then had the Xinxim which was a lovely creamy curry type of dish and my wife had the Puerto Rican Paella which she adored. The service was excellent! We had a lovely waitress called Louwna who could not do enough for us. She explained the dishes near enough to every detail and was very polite. All in all a great experience and serious value for money. We can't wait to visit again and we are taking our friends there next month. Cheers

The daytime menu of adding a starter and drink for only about a pound each is brilliant. Even though we are skint students it lets my boyfriend and I have a fancy meal and not feel like we are being stingy having to order water and share courses as we have to do at other places. Booked a work presentation for 70 people so had exclusive use of MK restaurant. The manager (James) organized a salsa demo and made sure that everything ran smoothly on the day - and I have to confess to being a completely neurotic control freak! I wanted to be sure that all the staff were recognised for doing such a fantastic job - but particularly the waiters who very gamely joined in the salsa lesson as most of my male colleagues wouldn't join in. I have been recently working away from home in Birmingham and visited Iguanas 5 times now with between 5-10 of my colleagues and every time we have all been very impressed with the quality of food and service. I am a huge fan of Chinese food and the Iguanas in Birmingham is in the middle of Chinatown but once I tried Iguanas I never wanted to go anywhere else. we chose to eat here before a concert I had booked for my 40th birthday. we were seated upstairs where the atmosphere was great. The food and cocktails were yummy ( I was very pleasantly surprised as I was just expecting mass produced average food being a concert night). The staff were attentive and friendly but not pushy and we felt under no pressure to hurry up and get out -hence we carried on drinking. All in all a very pleasant experience and I would recommend this restaurant to my friends.

The Las Iguanas experience was the most enjoyable and memorable aspect of a friend''s hen weekend in Bath. We ordered a table for 18 of us
well in advance and didn't need to call ahead to check the booking or anything on arrival everything was ready for us and we got stuck in.
Our table was just as requested the staff made a big fuss over our bride to be and it set the tone for a fantastic evening. The staff were patient and professional even with such a large group our waitress (Rachel I think) was so friendly and knowledgeable a real credit to the place although the other waiters and staff were also memorably good! The sangria was lovely the food arrived all at the same time- didn’t take long- and was absolutely delicious. Beautifully made very, very tasty and filling but not at all heavy. I cannot wait for an excuse to go back and have recommended it to all of my friends and family.

The food is excellent cooked and served to perfection the service has NEVER been bad but the thing that brings us back time and time again is Scott and his fantastic team . His bar team are incredible greeting me and my friends with our names and cocktail of choice . Its great for impressing clients but even better when they remember a young 16 yr old girls birthday . Whilst you could expect good service from a restaurant in such a good location the personalities and behaviours of his staff are what makes it an experience to cherish and rush to recreate . Last Saturday ( 15th ) we had our Christmas night out with 4 of our dearest friends and as usual the attention and care made it a night to remember . He's got to have the best team in town and you have to have the best restaurant as a result . Well done Iguanas.
